We recognize that choosing UNISUS is a major investment in your child's future and one that requires careful consideration and understanding of what is involved financially. We are glad to assist with any concerns and questions through the admissions process. At UNISUS, we strive to make fees all-inclusive* to the extent possible. All fees below are in Canadian Dollars.

  • All fees in Canadian dollars.

  • Citizen / Permanent Resident includes parents living in Canada with a valid Canadian Work or Study Permit. 

  • International students entering Grade 7 may be considered for Boarding; admittance pending an Assessment Interview.

  • ECE (5 days/week, 3-5 yrs)

  • The Boarding Fee covers room and board, daily meals, 24/7 care, scheduled afterschool and weekend activities, and airport pick up and drop off on designated dates when the  Boarding Facility is closed for Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Break.

New Student Application Fee 

A non-refundable Application Fee of $250 is due at the time the Application is submitted. 

New Student One-time Entrance Fee 

A non-refundable New Student One-time Entrance Fee is payable upon acceptance. 

Senior School - Gr 11 DP Textbooks and Gr 12 DP Exam Fee 

Grade 11 DP Textbook Fee covers textbooks that are required in Grade 11 and 12. 

Grade 12 Exam Fee covers the six IB final exam fees billed by the International Baccalaureate®.

** Deposits will be applied to Tuition or Boarding fee, and are non-refundable. 

New Student Enrollment Deposit

A non-refundable New Student Enrollment Deposit is payable upon acceptance and this amount will be applied to the Tuition Fee payment. 

New Student Boarding Deposit 

A non-refundable New Boarding Student Deposit is payable upon acceptance and this amount will be applied to the Boarding Fee payment. 

Boarding Student - Ancillary Deposit 

A $1,500 deposit to the student’s account will be applied to: Incidental personal expenses, custodianship notarization fee, extra ordinary trips and its transportation, and certificate programs from third party providers. Any credit balance at the end of the school year will be transferred to the next school year or will be refunded to the parents if the student withdraws.

Scholarships

Leadership Scholarship up to $3,000 CDN*

Leadership Scholarships are awarded to students in recognition of the student’s demonstrated leadership, service commitments, strong academic success, strength of character, co-curricular involvement, and other relevant talents and achievements.

Merit Scholarship up to $8,000 CDN*

Merit Scholarships are awarded to students in recognition of the student’s demonstrated strong academic achievements, strength of character, co-curricular engagements, and other relevant talents and accomplishments.

* Merit and Leadership Scholarships are available for each year.  Evidence of academic performance and leadership achievements are required for renewal.

Sibling Discount

A Siblings Discount on tuition is applicable as follows**: 5% for the 2nd child, 15% for 3rd child, 30% for 4th and subsequent child entering the school. 

** Not applicable for students with scholarship or other financial arrangements.

Financial Assistance (Current UNISUS Families)

UNISUS offers tuition assistance to current students whose families can show evidence of financial need.

  1. UNISUS recognizes the need for support to current families who may experience an unexpected financial hardship. We consider all situations.

  2. Financial assistance information can be requested through the Admissions Office.

  3. Families are advised to apply for financial assistance at their earliest convenience, as funds are limited.

  4. The application for financial assistance is made to a third party assessor, Apple Financial Services.

  5. The application for financial assistance must be completed on the Apple Financial Services website; please be sure to review the instructions provided (Before Applying, After Applying, etc).

  6. The family’s application for financial assistance is reviewed and evaluated by Apple Financial Services and a recommendation from AFS is then sent to the school.

  7. Applicants will be contacted once the recommendation is reviewed by the Unisus International School Finance Committee, approximately 2-3 weeks from the completion of an application.

  8. Renewal of financial assistance is not automatic.

  9. Financial aid is awarded in the form of a reduction in tuition fees.
