UNISUS is proud to offer seasonal camps, right here on our beautiful campus, and the camps can range from winter activities camps, to summer enrichment camps. Take advantage of our beautiful 4 seasons in any of our camp experiences, and have access to:
3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
Snacks during the day (fruits, granola bars, sandwiches, juices, etc)
Accommodation in our safe, state-of-the-art dormitories
Half day and Full day activities
Transportation to and from the airport (Kelowna or Penticton) and to and from all activities
The UNISUS Summer Camp enables participants to curate a personalized experience by selecting from an array of modules to deep dive into specific areas of interest. Campers engage in classes five times a week in addition to an array of outdoor recreational and cultural experiences, and can enroll in a two or four week stay.
Students have the options to choose models from within our English Language Learner and Future Global Leader Programs, which will be combined with programmed outdoor and social activities.
Module 1: Future Global Leaders
The FGL Program is designed by our specialized instructors for students aspiring to elevate their capacity as an effective Global Citizen. It encompasses hands-on experiences within the relevant fields, as well as engaging field trips to local facilities pertinent to each theme.
What To Expect
Week 1: Eco-Innovation - Entrepreneurship - Students embark on a sustainability-focused entrepreneurship journey, exploring innovative ways to address global and local environmental challenges.
Week 2: Game Makers - This module gets campers to ignite their passion for video game design through an immersive and exhilarating experience.
Week 3: Tech Start Entrepreneur - This module immerses campers in the world of entrepreneurship with a focused theme of technology and innovation.
Week 4: Technology- 3D Design - This module is an immersive week-long journey where cutting edge technology meets creative 3D design.
Module 2: English Language Learners
Designed to develop and sharpen participant's english language skills in an innovative and engaging environment. Upon arrival students undergo written and oral assessments to determine their designated class. Students have the opportunity to thrive in both independent and group based projects during themed weeks conducted in a variety of settings.
What To Expect
Week 1: Cultural Explorer - Students have the opportunity to immerse in the beauty of language of cultures with a highlight in Canadian Culture.
Week 2: Leadership Quest - The leadership module takes campers on a journey of language and leadership. The immersive experience combines language mastery with the art of leadership.
Week 3: Techlingo - Dive into the fascinating world of language and technology. This immersive experience seamlessly blends language acquisition with modern technology.
Week 4: EcoLanguage - Embark on a transformative language module with a journey incorporating the principles of sustainability.
The Summer Enrichment Program offers a well-rounded experience for students, going beyond traditional classroom settings. The program offers structured learning, specialized classes, recreational activities, and opportunities for participants to connect with peers from around the world.
Students participate in independent activities, dynamic large-group games, and smaller counsellor group learning as well as venturing off campus to explore the many amenities that the Okanagan has to offer.
Outdoor Activities
Throughout each week of camp woven into the choice of ELL or FGL modules, students will embark on thrilling adventures, immersing themselves in the natural
beauty and excitement that the Okanagan has to offer. Our carefully curated schedule includes both full and half day excursions, ensuring a well-rounded and exhilarating experience. On four separate occasions each week, students partake in excursions which can include: ziplining, swimming, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing and many more

With over 60 years of hockey programming experience, OHG brings their expertise in hockey training and development to prepare scholar athletes for an unparalleled hockey experience. OHG’s primary focus is to promote the long-term development of each individual athlete in the classroom, on the ice, and in the community. Key Features of the Hockey Summer Camp Program:
Hockey Skills Development - learning from the best
Daily hockey skills on ice programming, delivered by the Okanagan Hockey Program and certified coaches in their state of the art facilities in Penticton, a 15 min from the UNISUS Campus.
Skills development include technical individual skills and competitive play. The program will conclude with the opportunity to play a game against local Okanagan Hockey players.
Entrepreneurship Program plus Hockey Career Pathways (Option 1)
Our entrepreneurship modules work with students to explore career pathways associated with their hockey passion, and come up with an offering that they are guided to build a business around, with a final dragons den presentation.
Students also explore the importance of building a strong online profile to open doors.
Accelerated English Language Learning (Option 2 for our international families)
