"Un-charitable" Screening - Join us June 5th at 5pm for a discussion on the role of Charities in driving change

Dear Parents and UNISUS Community,

We'd like to extend a warm welcome to a screening and discussion on the documentary, "Uncharitable", in partnership with Community Foundation South Okanagan. 

Our students in grades 10 and 11 have been working with the CFSO Vital Signs report, to understand the main issues facing our community and what some potential initiatives could be.   This event goes hand in hand with driving local change, and our students will be joining this event as part of their CAS program. 

Join us on June 5th at UNISUS school for a thought-provoking evening of film, conversations and community. The event will begin with a screening of “UnCharitable” by Dan Pallotta, followed by facilitated discussions. “UnCharitable” challenges conventional wisdom about charitable giving, urging viewers to rethink how society perceives and supports nonprofits.

This event is part of our broader Vital Conversations series which aims to facilitate impactful discussions across the region, driving local change.

The event is open to donors, charities, businesses, community builders and builders. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in a meaningful dialogue that can shape the future of our community.
